PRI Voice Logger is a III party interface that is connected in between the PRI Line & a PCM/TDM Epabx to record all the incoming and Outgoing calls that happens in the PRI Line.
The hardware used for PRI Voice Logger is in general a 2 Port PRI card where in Port 1 the line from Telco is connected as input which shall be configured as main while the output from Port 2 shall be connected to the EPABX as PRI input to PCM/TDM EPABX which shall be treated as slave.
In the event of both PRI Card failure or the PRI Voice Logger Failure, you have to remove the PRI line from PRI Voice logger and connect it directly to the PCM/TDM EPABX. Be rest assured that both PRI Card & PRI Voice Logger are highly reliable that rarely fails.
Yes, this is definitely a concern and the workaround is allotting a DID number of PRI to every extension as DID number is the source or destination identity we receive for extensions during outgoing and incoming call events. If the Pilot number is used as CLI for multiple extension we will not be able to differentiate extensions in every report.
In GUI we have a menu with which the customer can manipulate the DID number for extension to have relevant data in PRI Voice Logger
Absolutely Yes, The only difference is the selected product type during registration. If the same license is reregistered as Ip Pbx it will start functioning as Ip Pbx.
