Network Configuration

Network SetUp

Default System Settings

Only LAN Extensions (No Extensions are Outside LAN)

  • Just change the IP address to a valid IP in the network and you are done

System with outside extensions using Static IP

  • Change the IP address to a valid IP in your LAN network.(eg – 192.168.1.99 which is a valid IP for your LAN network so that local extensions can work on your LAN not via static IP)
  • Put the Com1 IP PBX behind a router with port forwarding facility.

Step1 : Configuring the router to be a part of your LAN network:

  • Allot a valid IP to the router and configure the router to work in your network.(eg – 192.168.1.4 which is a valid IP for your LAN network so that local extensions can work on your LAN not via static IP)
  • Configure the Static IP with all credentials on to the router(eg – 122.165.81.92)
